Baptism

Baptism is an important event in the life of a Christ follower. In the book of Acts we see story after story of people coming to know Jesus as their savior and then getting baptized in obedience. In the act of baptism we identify ourselves with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we are immersed into the water it symbolizes that we are dying to our old self and as we come up out of the water we are raised in new life in Christ.
